T3 TRANSMISSIONS BUILT FOR WATER-COOLED VANAGON ONLY.
Our vanagon transmissions are completely rebuilt. The price includes installation of our custom 3.27 Ring and Pinion (R&P) set. Our R&P will reduce your RPM’s by 800, thereby increasing your gas mileage (MPGs). This is especially important for customers who have more powerful Subaru, Ford, VW 1.8T and other motor conversions for their vanagons.
Instead of increasing tire and rim size to decrease your RPM’s which puts strain on your transmission, the R&P swap is the best modification you can do to save your transmission and increase your MPG. These R&P’s are brand new custom built.
Included with the trans-axle is a rebuilt torque converter. A new oil cooler is NOT included. In addition to the automatic section, the differential section is completely rebuilt with all new bearings, seals and gaskets.
Note: A core charge is a deposit until your old part is returned and inspected. All or some of this deposit may be forfeited depending upon the condition of the core.

California sales tax will charged for local pick-up or shipped within CA.
1 year unlimited mile warranty.
Note: The transmission must be used in a Vanagon and not in a sand rail or off road vehicle. The warranty will be voided if used off-road or racing.
Important: using redline lubricant will void all warranty.
You may split your payments into two payments. Pay 50% deposit upfront and another 50% in 30 days or less. We will ship your transmission once we receive the second payment.
We charge a 10% restocking fee on all canceled orders.
Initial shipping costs for this item are subject to change as the order is processed. Shipping cost is “one way-trip,” meaning the cost to ship the transmission to you. Please contact us at email@example.com when you are ready to return your transmission core.
NOTE: Transmissions are delivered via truck freight and CANNOT BE DELIVERED TO RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES. If the delivery destination does not have a forklift, a lift-gate will be necessary ($160 extra).

Note: We do not need the dip-stick tube or kick-down lever. These get damaged in transit. Unless you request them. We will not ship the transmission with these items and we will ship the transmission dry.
